What Told keeps, and where.

The short version

Told has no sign-up and no tracker. You sign in by signing one message with your Solana wallet; that signature moves nothing and costs nothing. Told then sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in. Your drafts, your launches and your dot’s chat are kept on Told’s server under your wallet’s address.

What is kept

  • Drafts: ticker, name, picture, description and status, and the link a picture came from. A copy of the picture is kept so that the picture you check is the one that launches.

  • Launches you approved: the same fields, plus the address of the wallet that approved, the transaction signature and the coin’s address.

  • Your dot: the name you gave it, and the messages between you and it, so it can follow the conversation.

  • A dot token, if you make one: only a fingerprint of it is kept, never the token itself.

  • A link from a dot that lives somewhere else may carry a draft inside it. Anyone who has that link can read that draft, so treat it like the message it came in.

Your wallet

Told sees your wallet’s public address when you connect. It never sees a seed phrase or a private key, and it never asks for one. Your wallet is asked to sign when you connect and when you press Approve. Told holds no wallet of yours and cannot move your funds.

Skip approval is off unless you turn it on. If you do, Told keeps a separate wallet for your dot. What you send to that wallet pays for the launches you tell your dot to make, and you can send the rest back to your own wallet at any time. It can be sent nowhere else.

What your dot sees

Your dot sees what you tell it, the pictures you attach and your drafts. It runs on Told’s server through a service that processes each message to write the answer. It cannot see your wallet’s funds and cannot approve, sign or pay.

What is public

A launched coin is public. Its ticker, name, picture, description and creator wallet can be seen on Solana and on pump.fun by anyone, permanently. Approving also uploads the picture and those details to pump.fun’s public file storage, where they stay.

Deleting

Delete a draft in the app and it is gone from Told. A coin that has launched cannot be deleted by anyone.

Changes
