Fees
What a launch costs, who it is paid to, and what comes back to you. Told adds no fee and takes no cut.
Launching through Told costs what launching on pump.fun costs: the Solana network fee when you approve, paid in SOL from your wallet. pump.fun sets its own trading fees and pays the creator’s share to the wallet that launched.

Five questions, five places to look. Pick yours.
Three moments
Written by your dot. Costs nothing.
free per draft
Signed by your wallet. Costs the network fee.
network fee per launch, in SOL
Paid by pump.fun. Paid to you.
to your wallet per trade
Two ways to make a draft
Tell your dot the ticker, the name and the picture. It writes the draft and sends you the link. You approve.
No dot to hand? Write the draft yourself in the app. Same fields, same approval, same fees: none to Told.
Build your sentence
Answer four questions and get the sentence to send. It is a starting point, not a script. Your dot understands plain words, so change any of it.
Your sentence
launch $TICKER, call it NAME, use this picture
Send it as it is, or in your own words.
The app shows the sentence to send, with the skill-file link added.
The full list
Every cost between your sentence and a live coin, and where it goes. For the steps in order, see how it works.
Line by line.
Not for a fee. Not at all.
The mechanics
Up to 10 letters or digits. It cannot be changed after launch.
Up to 32 characters. Shown next to the ticker everywhere.
One square image. PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF.
One or two plain sentences, up to 280 characters.
The wallet that approves. The creator fees are paid to it.
Draft, approved or live. Only you move it on.
The limits
Characters or items per field. The app and the skill file enforce the same numbers.
One ticker, one name, one picture, one description. Nothing else fits.
A second coin is a second draft.
One word
“launch $EXAMPLE.” Your dot asks you for a name and a picture before it sends the link.
One sentence
“launch $EXAMPLE, call it Example, use this picture.” The link comes straight back.
One message
You type it with the picture attached. Your dot drafts it and answers with the link to the draft.
"launch $TICKER, call it X, use this picture."
Your wallet shows what it is about to sign before you sign it. What you approve is the draft on your screen, with the network fee and nothing added by Told.
Told adds nothing. You pay the Solana network fee when your wallet signs the launch, in SOL. That is what launching on pump.fun yourself costs.
No. The wallet that approves is the coin’s creator, and pump.fun pays the creator’s share of trading fees to that wallet. Told is not in that path and cannot redirect it.
No. A draft is a few fields kept on your device and carried in a link. Make as many as you like. Nothing touches Solana until you approve one.
pump.fun does, and it can change them. Told does not set, add to or collect any of them. Check pump.fun for the current numbers before you launch.
The Solana network fee for the launch, shown in the wallet prompt before you sign. If the prompt shows a transfer to an address you do not recognise, reject it.
Not from Told. What you sign is what happens. Trading the coin afterwards carries pump.fun’s own fees, like any coin there.
The same as the first. Each coin is its own draft, its own approval and its own network fee.
Yes, a little, to pay the network fee when you approve. You need none to make or read a draft.
No. Your dot writes the draft and sends the link. It pays for nothing and holds nothing in this, unless you turn on Skip approval: then it pays the same network fee from a wallet you top up.
Next step
Get the sentence to send your dot, or write a draft by hand. Nothing launches until you approve.
Open the app
One short page that tells your dot what a draft is. It is public, so you can read exactly what your dot reads.
